A lovely and interesting place to visit when in Broken Hill, especially on a hot day. It has a great vibe and a lovely little museum which is well worth a visit. It also has an enormous drinks menu!
My wife grew up a street from Bell's and when in town she frequents the place. Best ever chocolate nut Sunday is her favourite. She is in her 60's and still loves the place.
Absolutely gorgeous place! It was so fun to feel like you've stepped back in time. And that was the best spearmint milkshake I've ever had.
This authentic 1950s milk bar is a must visit whilst your in Broken Hill. The spiders and waffles are made with original recipe ice-cream. The flavours for the milkshakes and spiders are unique to Bells and are amazing. Once you've had your sugar fix, head out the back to look through the history of Bells and a fantastic collection of 1950s milk bar kitchen and furniture. I would have gone back a second time if our time in Broken Hill allowed for it.
